đ New features
đ Send notifications from your own email address
To access these settings, navigate to Notifications â Custom email config.
Appointment emails no longer have to come from the app's default address. You can now send confirmations, reminders and other notifications from your own email or domain, so customers see your store's name and address in their inbox.
Choose one of two methods under Configure a method:
SMTP: connect your existing email provider. Enter the SMTP host, Port, Username, Password, Encryption, From email and From name. Click Test connection to check the details, then Save.
Custom domain: send from your own domain, for example [email protected]. Enter your Domain and, if you like, a Sender email and Sender name, then click Add domain. Click View DNS records, add the records at your domain provider, then click Validate. The status changes from Pending to Verified once your domain is ready.
đ Switch between senders anytime
Under Active email method, choose which sender is live:
Default (app sends your emails)
SMTP
Custom domain
You can switch back to the default at any time without losing your saved settings, and switch again whenever you're ready. A method can only be made active once it's fully set up. Use Remove to delete a method's configuration completely.
Note: if you set up a custom sender before this update, it stays active and your emails keep coming from your address.
